The heirloom vase of Nguyen Nghiem
Ladies and gentlemen!
In front of you is the Doc Binh (Unique Vase), the family heirloom of Mr. Nguyen Nghiem - the father of the great poet Nguyen Du, dating back to the 18th century. Previously placed as a decoration in the house of Nguyen Nghiem, the vase is made of opaque white ceramic and decorated with delicate flowers, as well as plants such as pine and apricot flowers in the old traditional style, symbolizing Confucian culture.
In addition to the delicate Doc Binh vase, the exhibition house also currently preserves the Royal Decree of Emperor Khai Dinh, an extremely valuable artifact that bestowed on Nguyen Nghiem the title of "Supreme Saint".
