Ladies and gentlemen,
In 1965, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great poet Nguyen Du, the Cho Tro communal house of Duc Nhan commune, Duc Tho district, dating from the late 18th century, was moved to the Memorial Site to exhibit a large number of images and artifacts related to the life and career of Nguyen Du and the Nguyen clan in Tien Dien. By 2000, the exhibition complex officially completed construction, including an exhibition house, library, and auditorium, among others.
Currently, the Nguyen Du exhibition house has on display nearly 1,000 valuable original documents and artifacts related to the life and career of the great poet Nguyen Du and notable members of the Nguyen clan of Tien Dien, categorized into 3 main themes: the first introduces Nguyen Du’s hometown of Nghi Xuan and the Nguyen clan of Tien Dien, the second introduces Nguyen Du's life and career, the third introduces the influence of The Tale of Kieu on Vietnam and the world.
